Who we are
The Smart Team Circle operates at the Department of Electrical Apparatus at the EEIA faculty of the Lodz University of Technology. Smart Team brings people together interested in the latest technologies that can be used in intelligent buildings in the future, modern cars and Smart City.
Range of activity
CONSTRUCTION | RENEWABLE ENERGY | SMART CITY | ELECTRONICS |
Ccience Club goals
The aim of the circle is optimization of intelligent building control systems to improve their energy efficiency,
which further leads to climate neutrality in the flagship EU program which is the European Green Deal and the latest program of the Polish Government which is Clean Air.
As members of the circle, we want the systems we create to improve the comfort of people's lives and increase the standard of safety not only at home, but also on city streets and in public spaces. When creating projects, we use solutions available on the market, combining them with our ideas. We use creativity and imagination.
Project
Members of the Smart Team circle have created a design of a bench with a photovoltaic panel and a battery with the possibility of charging mobile devices. In addition, the bench has been equipped with a panel with a display, which will be able to serve as information about the state of the bench and display data from sensors.
In the near future, it is planned to place a bench at TUL, thanks to which students will be able to charge their devices and see an example of the possibility of using renewable sources.
The design of the smart room assumed the creation of a workshop demonstrating the operation of exemplary building automation systems. The scope of activities included the creation of such systems as:
- Access control
- Remote lighting control
- Remote control of heating and air conditioning
- Dynamic analysis of air composition
